With the CMC you can master a new recreation skill, learn about nature, improve your photography or landscape painting, and enhance your leadership abilities - often in the same week! From one-day seminars to multi-week schools, the CMC will teach you how to have safe, fun, and interesting adventures in the mountains. We have learning opportunities for every age, interest, or level of ability. You are sure to make new friends and enjoy rich experiences that the mountains offer.
Many recreation skills courses-hiking, climbing, skiing, and more-are offered to CMC members through the CMC Groups. Please click on the CALENDAR

The CMC Education Department offers courses that are designed for the general public as well as for CMC members, in the four areas of our mission: Mountain recreation, art, science, and literature. Some courses even qualify for graduate-level recertification credit for teachers. To see a list of current courses, please click on the CALENDAR for more information and to register on-line.
