The purpose of this website is to support leadership training and development in the Colorado Mountain Club.
Most new trip leaders are trained by their regional group. Now CMC has an additional training opportunity, a combination of web-based and hands on trip leader training in the mountains.
A number of resoures are included on this site to support group training and continuing leader development. See the calendar to the left and click on the links to find more information.
Trip Leaders are the heart and soul of The Colorado Mountain Club! Volunteer leaders provide safe, fun, and challenging mountain adventures to CMC members and guests.
