Registration Required. Visit www.cmc.org and click Trip Schedule.
REI
Pinnacle

The REI Denver Flagship Climbing Pinnacle is a 47-foot monolith encompassing over 6,400 square feet of hand-sculpted rock surface. The pinnacle was modeled on the sandstone bluffs found throughout the Front Range of Colorado, much like the Flatirons of Boulder. The Pinnacle offers an incredible variety of climbing terrain. It contains 12 top-roped routes and 2 lead-climbing routes ranging in difficulty from 5.4-5.13 on the Yosemite Decimal System. The types of climbing features include: Hand-Cracks, Finger-Cracks, Pockets, Huecos, Lay-Back-Cracks, Flakes, Aretes, Dihedrals, Roofs, Overhangs and Slabs.

CMC Climbing 101
Climbing 101 class is designed to get adults and children ages 11 and up on the walls and climbing immediately. No previous climbing experience or equipment is necessary. If you've never tried climbing but always wanted to, Climbing 101 is for you. In addition to basic climbing skills you'll get comfortable on the wall and learn the lingo, knots, and all the skills you need to get climbing. After this class you'll be able to continue climbing with our volunteer belayers or come back to Open Climb classes on Wednesday. Climbers need to be a minimum 48" tall before they're allowed on the pinnacle.

$20 for CMC members, $25 for non-CMC members. Max class size is 8 per week.
