| Free Heel Skiing Section |
The Free Heel Section coordinates backcountry skiing activities and offers a variety of educational opportunities in the Colorado Mountain Club. Included are telemark and alpine touring (randonee) one-day or multiple-day ski tours. The section organizes hut tours, overnight winter camping trips, yurt overnights, and other activities. Several CMC ski schools are available for backcountry skiers of different skill and ability levels.
