Trailblazers Section

Are you a Trailblazer? Some may define such a person based on age or athletic prowess. Others suggest it is another name for our inner spirit, a will to push the boundaries even just a little. We say that the term is rather insignificant... as long as you like to have fun!

The CMC Trailblazers are a section of the Denver Group for members ages 20-40 (plus or minus a few). Our purpose goes beyond the normal hiking and snow adventures of the club to create a network of peers who can be contacted for many different sport and social activities. In addition to monthly happy hours that attract many people per event, we have billiards night, movie and dance nights, concerts, volleyball, BBQ's, river trips, and much more. Last but certainly not least, several Trailblazers are CMC trip leaders who have hikes and camping trips scheduled year round. Look for "Trailblazers hike" in the trip title.

The Denver Group has over 2200 members between the ages of 20 - 40. It only costs $15 / year in addition to CMC membership to join our group and start networking with your peers. You will receive a bimonthly newsletter listing our many activities, the ability to send e-mail on our own list server, and a carte blanche invitation to lead your own event.
