Trail Running Section

Relaxed trail running in nearby Open Space Parks, State Parks or National Forests or Parks for all levels of runners. A great way to meet other trail runners and have fun! Emphasis is on enjoying running at your own pace free of competition. Carpooling to trail heads are options in many of the runs to be organized. To meet the needs of a variety of runners Three levels of runs have been designed :

  • "Easy" - 3 to 4.5 miles and up to 1,000 ft. elevation gain.
  • "Moderate" - 4.6 to 7.9 miles and up to 2,000 ft elevation gain.
  • "Difficult" - 8.0 or more miles, and up to or over 3,000 ft elevation gain.

The runs will be published in the CMC newsletter (the Mile High Mountaineer) or the Activity Schedule (use member login to view)
