The Aspen group consists of approximately 170 members who mainly live in the Roaring Fork Valley but also come from such places as New York, Florida, Texas, Wyoming, Arizona, and California . Our activities include cross country skiing to backcountry huts, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, picnics, an annual banquet, backpacking, mountain climbing, desert hiking in Utah, slide shows on winter evenings, and a basic mountaineering course. We have also taken hiking trips to Garmisch, Germany, Chamonix, France, and Bariloche, Argentina.
