Conditional Reopening of Mt. Democrat and Mt. Lincoln

Since 2005, the CMC has worked with the US Forest Service, private property owners, and other partners to reopen legal access to Mounts Lincoln, Bross & Democrat. On June 1, 2009, the CMC and partners are pleased to announce a conditional reopening of the 14er access trail from Kite Lake to the summits of Mt. Democrat and Mt. Lincoln.
