Telemark Ski School - Session B - Denver - 2023

Backcountry Skiing/Splitboarding & Nordic Skiing Course

Telemark Ski School

The Denver Group 2023 Telemark Ski School will celebrate its 40th year of providing quality volunteer instruction to hundreds of students hailing from all over Colorado! We help beginner, intermediate and advanced-level telemark skiers learn and/or improve their telemark skiing skills. You don’t have to know how to telemark, we’ll teach you. Learn to telemark and look cool on the mountain.

Free your heel and free your mind!

The school is held on three different Sundays, one each in January, February and March.  Each its own separate “module”.  The best way to use the school is to take at least two of the Sunday modules and practice in between.  But taking all three is even better!  This is YOUR year for telemark skiing.  Most of our instructors have a teaching certification from the PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America).

The school cost does not include ski area lift tickets. They will be available for $55 at Loveland the morning your school module starts.

Important: You must be able to comfortably and safely get on and off of a ski lift and be comfortable skiing green terrain.  You don’t have to be able to telemark on the green terrain, but you do need alpine skiing skills.  This is not a “how to ski if you’ve never skied” course.  Click on "Required Equipment to see what you'll need.

More details will be in a letter that all students get before the module.

Click on the REQUIRED EQUIPMENT tab to see what you are going to need for this school.
