The Backcountry Bash is the Club’s signature winter fundraiser and is a celebration of human-powered, winter recreation in Colorado. You definitely don't want to miss this exciting evening of auctions, food, beverages and a screening of several of the season's hottest ski films. You'll also get to rub shoulders with Dynafit athletes Donny Roth, Marshall Thomson, Cody Barnhill and Eric Henderson. Plus, CMC Members get tickets for $30!

Hosted by human-powered advocate and pro backcountry skier Donny Roth, the Bash will raise money and awareness for CMC's Lands program and the Backcountry Snowsports Initiative, which advocates for preservation of winter backcountry areas for quiet human-powered use. Last year, a sold-out crowd of more than 300 outdoor enthusiasts and conservationists attended the event, raising over $25,000 for the cause.

This year, the Backcountry Bash will feature two of the season’s most talked about new winter sports films – From the Road and Higher. From the Road by Fisher Creative portrays the balance between liberation and limitation as a group of Dynafit athletes come together to help a skiing comrade gain reconciliation with the Alaska peak where a 2009 accident ended his professional guiding career. Higher from Teton Gravity Research continues the journey of athlete Jeremy Jones as he reaches new heights.

All proceeds benefit CMC Conservation/Lands and the Backcountry Snowsports Initiative.
