World Summit Series
Mount Elbrus (5,642M/18,510’)
Travel to Moscow, fly to Mineralnyevody, bus to Elbrus Valley. Do a series of acclimatization hikes including hikes to the Cheget massif, Barrel Huts and Priut 11. Mix in some rest days and prepare for a summit climb. Return to Moscow for some sightseeing before flying home.

Steve is a long time CMC Trip Leader and the club’s most prolific Adventure Travel Leader. He has led multiple climbs up Kilimanjaro, Mt. Elbrus, and Aconcagua, as well as other climbs in China, Europe and Africa. He heads the Adventure Travel Committee and is a Co-Chair of the World Summit Series.
