World Summit Series

Mt. Everest (8,848M/29,029’)

The Northeast Ridge is one of two popular routes, the other being the South Col route from Nepal.  Arriving in Katmandu, we’ll travel into China to the city of Tingri, and on to Everest Base Camp.  From there it will be a series of climbs and training drills to acclimatize and move through the advanced camps - C1 - C3. We’ll make a summit push in late May/early June. While we are a self-guided team - meaning it is a working expedition - we will have an experienced Sherpa per climber, awesome base camp and logistics support and weather reporting.  The Colorado Mountain Club is only doing the World Summit Series once. Be a part of history and realize your Mt. Everest dreams.  If you are interested in being a part of the expedition, but not necessarily taking on the climb, there are opportunities for you - communications and medical support come to mind.
