World Summit Series
Mt. Everest (8,848M/29,029’)
The Northeast Ridge is one of two popular routes, the other being the South Col route
from Nepal . Arriving in Katmandu, we’ll travel into China to the city of Tingri, and on to Everest Base Camp. From there it will be a series of climbs and training drills to acclimatize and move through the advanced camps - C1 - C3. We’ll make a summit push in late May/early June . While we are a self-guided team - meaning it is a working expedition - we will have an experienced Sherpa per climber, awesome base camp and logistics support and weather reporting. The Colorado Mountain Club is only doing the World Summit Series once. Be a part of history and realize your Mt. Everest dreams. If you are interested in being a part of the expedition, but not necessarily taking on the climb, there are opportunities for you - communications and medical support come to mind.
