Trip Overview - Trip Full, Join Waitlist.

The annual CMC Colorado In-State Outing will be held at Kebler Pass in July and August 2020. This active 5-night excursion is known for showcasing areas of Colorado that we don't commonly see and the camaraderie with folks who share your appreciation of an active outdoor lifestyle. You'll be immersed in the Great Colorado Outdoors and discover an area of our state that is welcoming and pristine. You'll camp as a group near Kebler Pass and enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking and lots of fun evening entertainment together. This trip fills up extremely fast, so register as soon as possible.

In Summer 2020, the ISO (In-State Outing) will enjoy entire use of the Kebler Corner resort, nestled below Kebler Pass in Gunnison County, Colorado. Located just 30 miles west of Crested Butte, the area is bursting with wildflowers and massive aspen trees. Besides many nearby hiking opportunities (e.g., Raggeds Wilderness, Three Lakes Trail, Beckwith Pass, Soapcreek, and Silver Basin), other opportunities are a short distance away in Marble or the Black Canyon National Park. Paonia State Park and Reservoir is within a half mile of the resort, and folks could bring their kayaks or stand-up paddle-boards. To tempt those who fish, Anthracite Creek runs adjacent to the property. This is a great little creek that doesn’t get much traffic or publicity and offers a wonderful fishing opportunity.  Also, the highway near the resort has incredibly wide shoulders – perfect for those who want to bring their road bikes.
