The marvelous trails at Curt Gowdy State Park west of Cheyenne are as close in driving time to Fort Collins as are the major trails in Rocky Mountain National Park. Join us as we make a snowshoeing/hiking circuit that will link many of the trails of the park’s “Mountain Trail System” together on a traverse through steep wooded canyons, rocky outcrops, and wind-swept open grasslands. We’ll also visit Hidden Falls, and we’ll plan to scamper to the summit of Point 7507 along our route. We led this same trip three years ago, and the 12 participants were all delighted and excited about the day we shared. Come and learn about some of the treasures of this park! Rideshare $12. Register directly with the leaders. Steve Martin (970) 568-9333 falconridge@cowisp.net; Eileen Edelman (970) 482-3399 Eileen@theedelmans.net. Electronic registration on the CMC website will not be seen, so be certain to contact the leaders.
