Watching Wildlife Behind the Scenes

Bobcat Ridge Natural Area near Masonville has eight motion-triggered cameras that have been on-site since June 2009, capturing photos of wildlife at every time of day and season of the year, from mountain lions and bears to Abert's squirrels and skunks. Discover what the City of Fort Collins has learned from these cameras, how they are used in education, and how the involvement of partners such as the Rocky Mountain Cat Conservancy, Poudre School District, and Colorado State University have increased the outreach of this popular project.

Presented by: Deborah Price, Community Programs Educator with the City of Fort Collins Natural Areas Department.
