Details

From Raymond follow old road and trail to this conspicuous granite landmark towering over the forest. Early historic legends were supposed to have occurred at this site. Was Miller a peaceful rancher or a horsethief who met his death atop this rock fortress? Colorado Division of Wildlife-qualified, volunteer instructor Hora will expound on "Living With Wildlife". Colorado is know for its abundance and variety of wildlife. People come from all over the world to enjoy wildlife from the prairie chicken of the plains to the bighorn sheep, elk, bear, mountain lion and small mammals of the Rockies. As with all creatures we do not want to fear these wonderful animals, but want to have a healthy respect born out of learning. Instructor Hora will contribute to your wildlife knowledge to know how to enjoy and live with these magnificent creatures.
