We will meet promptly at 7:00 AM,  at the  Woolly Mammoth Park and Ride, under the section KK sign, off US-40  near the US-40/ I-70 interchange.

The first half of the hike is a gradually steepening climb along a stream  through open, mature, forest.  The second half is above timberline over open tundra, with a broad view and a high probability of seeing elk or mountain goats.  There are already quite a few spring flowers, even near the summit.    Peak X is  12,429 ft. The trailhead is at about 10,000 ft.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
