Details

This trip is mostly off-trail.  It includes easy bushwhacking, possible creekbed scrambling, extended ascend and descend on steep rockfield, ridge climb and a short, exposed rock section with good holds.  There is lots of second and third class scrambling, with occasional short fourth class section.  There maybe optional, belayed, 5th class chimney climb.  Small snow fields can be encountered along the way.

Notes

Ice axe, helmet, harness, rain gear, headlamp are required.  Hiking poles, microspikes are recommended.  Students of alpine scrambling course has priority on this trip.
