Dinosaur Lots off I-70- Exit 259   7:15 a.m.   Meet at the Wooly Mammoth Lot across from the Conoco,  Section AA.    Bring shoes/boot in a bag as a courtesy to your driver.    Start at 10,400 end above timberline at 11,900.  Hike a steep climb up an old logging road to an old mine.   Casual pace.   Plan for an hour lunch to be with Mother Nature during this great time of the year.     Pay your driver $10.00.   Stop for pie in Empire after the hike.    The coffee shop across from the park n ride opens at 6 am and offers CMC members a  25% discount.  Great coffee and Udi's products.

Follow old mining road up to Butler Gulch into a bowl. Continue to Continental Divide. Explore old mine buildings. Beautiful wild flowers.
