Ute Peak lies in the Williams Fork Mountains north of Silverthorne east of HWY 9. Ute Peak offers some of the best views of the Gore Mountain Range to the west.

The hike will start from Ute Pass. It goes through forest. We will gain about 600 feet of elevation and then have a drop of about 300 feet. We will then regain it and be above tree line and then stay on the trail to the summit.

Note this is also bear country, so if you have bear spray and a bear bell it might be good to have along with you.
