After-school programs with the Colorado Mountain Club's Youth Education Program (YEP) are back!  Join us this fall for an eight-week session of rock climbing, skill building, and fun at the American Mountaineering Center and NEW outdoor climbing sites.

Bell Middle After School Climbing Club will meet on Tuesday evenings.  We will pick students up from Bell Middle School at 2:10p and transport them to our indoor facility at the American Mountaineering Center (AMC) or the Jefferson County outdoor climbing area of the day.  We are excited to incorporate some new locations!  Location details to be included in program confirmation materials. Parents will pick their children up at 4:30p from the American Mountaineering Center.
We will start every day with a snack and a lesson on climbing technique, gear, or safety and risk management. Instruction will focus on a variety of climbing-related skills including belaying, rappelling, ascending a fixed line, anchor-building, slacklining, and more!

Cost: $165/student and includes snack, transportation, all necessary equipment, and instruction.

Minimum of 10 students; Maximum of 13.

Fall 2013 session dates:  September 17, September 24, October 1, October 8, October 15, October 22, October 29, and November 12.
