PLEASE NOTE:  This route goes off trail through dense forest for a large portion of the hike.  There are NO TRAILS to the summits of these peaks, although we will utilize the Lawn Lake Trail for a large portion of the hike.  To join this hike you must be prepared for 12 miles and 3500' of elevation gain, much of which is moving up steep terrain with large rocks, trees, and fallen timber.

For the Rocky Mountain National Park Centennial I am planning to lead a combo hike of Mount Bighorn (11463') and Mount Tileston (11254') in the Mummy Range on the northern part of the park.  The general plan is to start at the Lawn Lake Trailhead and follow the Lawn Lake Trail until we are west of the saddle between these two peaks.  From there, we will go off trail, bushwhack to the saddle, and hit both summits before returning down the north ridge of Tileston to the Lawn Lake Trail.
