Snowshoe or ski in the White River National Forest.  The Ophir Mountain trail system has several gently-sloped trails that are perfect for snowshoes or cross-country skis.  Avoid crowds on these little-known, lightly used trails between Frisco and Breckenridge.  Most of the trip will be on a loop so lots of new scenery along the way. Views of the 10-mile range and Dillon Reservoir.  Then beat the ski traffic back down the hill. Trail length may be adjusted for conditions and ability of participants.

Bring snowshoes or skis.  Skiers must have either fish scales, wax, or skins (half skins are sufficient) for their skis.

Parking lot coordinator needed, please indicate in notes if you can help out (must have a cell phone).

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
