Hike NW up the trail from Geneva Creek via Smelter Gulch to this high, secluded lake, nestled deep in a bowl at the base of Decatur Mountain. If we get some good rainfall, the wildflowers may be outstanding. We will have many stops to enjoy the natural history of the area.

Please be sure to bring the usual good rain gear, plenty of water and food, the 10 essentials plus camera, plant books as desired; please call and ask if you have any other questions about equipment. We will be at high altitude so please be prepared.  CAMPING next weekend at Burning Bear  is still available: call the trip leader (Jeanne) at daytime 303-409--7719 or cell phone 720- 581-2052
