This is the second in my "Bike a Neighborhood" series. I failed to bike all the roads in Fort Collins last year, but I still enjoy seeing the different neighborhoods, so I figured I would share in the adventure. In this trip we will bike the neighborhoods in the block defined by Mulberry, Lemay, Prospect and Remington. I have not done all these roads so I am not sure how interesting the neighborhoods will be (THAT's why it is an adventurer!).
The bike ride should be about 10 to 12 miles (some backtracking will be required to see interesting homes) and I plan to eat brunch at a local establishment after the ride (preferably something we bike to). When you sign up via e-mail you can state any preferences you have on eating establishments in the area.
For this trip you will need to bring your own bike (your own, borrowed or get one at the Bike Library) AND you must have a helmut. We will go at a casual pace, but you should be able to bike at about 10 mph for 10 miles. Also note this ride will be on roads not on the bike trail.
