Get ready to experience one of  the newest editions to the Colorado Trail Sheep Gulch to Cottonwood Pass is part of the new  "Collegiate West" loop route that runs on the  west side of the  Collegiate Peaks. We will meet at the trailhead early (6:00AM) Friday to start an amazing weekend of hiking through this wonderful wilderness. its 25.9 miles to Cottonwood pass. This gives us an easy pace of about 8.6 miles daily. Please register with me via email or phone for the trip and feel free to call or email with any questions. Ill be sending updates to trip members as we get close to the departure date.

The new "Collegiate West" forms a western complement to the existing 80-mile stretch of trail on the eastern side of the Collegiate Peaks from Twin Lakes, southwest of Leadville, to south of Monarch Pass, southwest of Salida.
