Notes

Included in the trip fee:
-4 nights and 5 days of hiking and camping with the llamas
-all meals starting with lunch day 1 through lunch day 5
-hikes guided by outfitters
-transportation from Boulder, Utah, to the trailhead and return to Boulder, Utah
-all care of llamas
-llamas carrying the heavy cooking equipment, food, tents, sleeping bags, pads, items not needed in your daypack
-tents, sleeping bags, pads
-all cooking and cleanup of meals on trip
-all tips for the guides
Not included in the trip fee:  Transportation to/from Boulder, Utah from your home and the hotel in Boulder, Utah, the night before and after the trip are not included.  Also, the meals at the hotel before and after the trip are not included. 


Payment

Once you apply, you will be notified if you are accepted for the outing.  Once accepted, submit a $780 deposit to the CMC to reserve a place (see cancellation policy).  Please do not send money before it is requested. The remaining balance is payable by February 1, 2016.


Cancelation Policy

All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing (letter or e-mail) to the trip leaders.

Cancellation up to 91 days (Date: 2/2/2016) or more prior to departure: If a qualified, wait listed, person is available to take a vacated slot and pays all money due, all payments made by the cancelling party will be refunded, less a $250 processing fee. If no one is available to take a vacated slot, and the cancelation is made before the participant’s final payment is made, the full $780 deposit is non-refundable. If no one is available to take the vacated slot, and the cancelation is made after the participant has made the final payment, all money paid in will be refunded, less $780.

Cancellation on Day 46 (Date: 3/17/2016) up to Day 90 prior to departure:  If a qualified, waitlisted person is available to take a vacated slot and pay all money due, all payments made by the cancelling party will be refunded less a $250 processing fee.  If no one is available to take a vacated slot, 1/3 of paid-in money will be refunded.  If only the $780 deposit has been paid in, in this instance, then the deposit is not-refundable.

 

Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel/cancellation/evacuation insurance.
