Lyons Gulch Campground, July 20

Trail Work, Restoration

Open to the public

Ages 12+

Lunch provided

Carpool available from Golden

In July 2012, the Lyons Gulch Campground was completely wiped out during a storm event. Mud and debris washed out the trails and campsites. This campground is a key access point for boaters on the Colorado River. CMC and BLM will work to reestablish trails and rehabilitate campsites. Volunteers may also install new fire rings and signs.

Previous trail work experience is NOT required. No dogs allowed. Free camping will be available Friday and Saturday nights. An email with more details on the project and logistics is forthcoming (carpools, food, etc...)If you need to cancel, please let us know well in advance. This is critical to the success of our project and helps us plan for food, gear, etc....

If you are a CMC member, it is recommended that you log in to register.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
