Notes

What’s included in the trip fee: Lodging for 14 nights, 6 breakfasts (all other lodging will have kitchen facilities to make breakfast), 4 lunches (3 packed lunches on the Abel Tasman walk and one lunch on Kapiti Island) , 8 dinners, airport transfers from/to Queenstown, from Nelson and to Wellington, Tracknet shuttle from Queenstown to Te Anau, Tracknet shuttle from Te Anau to Te Anau Downs, water shuttle from Te Anau Downs to the trailhead for the Milord Track and from Sandfly Point at the end to Milford village, overnight cruise on the sailboat Milford Wanderer, luxury coach tour on the Milford Road back to Te Anau, Backroads Bus tour from Te Anau to Queenstown including an historic steamship ride on Lake Wakatipu, flight on Air New Zealand from Queenstown to Nelson, transport to Marahau from Nelson and to Picton from the Ratanui Lodge, luggage transfer on the Able Tasman walk, all water taxi transfers on the Able Tasman walk, Cook Strait ferry from Picton to Wellington, shuttle from Wellington to Paraparaumu beach and back, water taxi from Paraparaumu beach to Kapiti Island and back and 2 days and one night on Kapiti Island including a guided Kiwi spotting walk.
What’s not included in the trip fee: Roundtrip airfare to New Zealand, trip insurance, remaining meals, snacks, bar tabs and souvenirs.
Possible cost variations: Inflation and exchange rates, single supplement- $1026


Cancellation Policy:

All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing (letter or e-mail) to the trip leader.

-$750 deposit is due upon receipt of approval for the trip.

-Payment of $1500 is due in the CMC office on October 31st, 2016. Leader will send an email reminder. 

-Final payment (based on number of participants, 2015 prices and exchange rates) will be due on January 31st, 2017.

-Cancellation on or before October 31st, 2016: if a wait list-listed person takes your place, all payments will be returned (less a $50 change fee).  If no replacement is available, no money will be refunded.

-Cancellation November 1st, 2016 through January 31st inclusive: if a wait list-listed person takes your place, all payments will be returned (less a $50 change fee).  If no replacement is available, 50% of the  money ($1000) will be refunded.

-Cancellation February 1st, 2017 through March 10, 2017 inclusive: 20% costs will be refunded (without regard to possible replacement from a wait list), with no refund if cancelled on or after March 11, 2017.

All participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel /trip cancellation/evacuation insurance.
