The Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys, member of SCFD, has items from the 16th century to modern times, including miniature trains, planes and cars, Japanese dolls, furnished miniature houses, a miniature circus and much more.
A current temporary exhibit is Matchstick Miniatures of several cathedrals and castles constructed entirely of matchsticks by artist Paul Marti.
The museum is located in the Pearce-McAllister Cottage which was built in 1899.
The interior spaces reflect the lifestyle of upper middle class families from 1890 through World War I and into the Roaring Twenties.
