Location

Meet at 7 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017, at the Loma boat launch on the Colorado River, 19 miles west of Grand Junction, CO, about 4.5 hours from Denver. A detailed map will be provided with registration. You will paddle 26 miles on the Colorado River over 3 days through magnificent red sandstone canyons including Ruby and Horsethief Canyons in the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area. You will get off the river on Sunday, August 13, 2017, around 2-4 p.m., 4 miles over the UT border.

What’s included in the trip fee: Centennial Canoe will provide 2-3 guides, all meals, water/lemonade, complimentary wine with dinner, boats, paddles, life jackets, straps for securing gear in boats, rescue equipment, first aid supplies, port-a-potty with tent & supplies, 1 large dry bag/person, campfire pan, propane stove, & all kitchen gear & utensils.  



What’s not included in the trip fee: tent, sleeping bag, mattress pad & a camp chair. Rentals are available.

Notes

Centennial Canoe Outfitters Inc. Deposit & Cancellation Policy:

We strongly recommend purchasing trip protection through Travelex at 1-800-228-9792  (www.travelexinsurance.com), if you do not wish to lose money due to unforeseen circumstances.  Travelex will ask you for location #06-0079.

A deposit of $100 per person must accompany your reservation request. Full payment is due four weeks prior to departure.  If full payment is not received four weeks prior to departure, Centennial Canoe Outfitters, Inc. (CCO) reserves the right to consider the reservation canceled and available for rebooking. A $30 fee will be charged for all NSF checks.

If you cancel your trip, you must notify us in writing.  Any refunds owed will be based on the day our office receives your notice.  We will calculate each person’s refund based on the following:  

Number of days prior to trip departure that cancellation is received:

Refund amount per person:

    28 days or more

Full refund less $30/person processing fee

    15 to 27 days

Trip credit through following season less a $30/person processing fee

    0 to 14 days

No refund or credit

Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, including personal emergencies or the weather.  There is no refund for leaving a trip early, arriving late, or choosing not to do all the offered activities. 

Centennial Canoe Outfitters, Inc. reserves the right to change tour itineraries or locations, OR to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, such as Acts of God. If we cancel a tour and cannot provide you with another trip that is comparable, a trip credit will be issued for all moneys paid, valid through the following season. This shall constitute full settlement with you.

If Centennial Canoe Outfitters, Inc. cancels a trip due to an insufficient number of participants, a full refund will be made. The refund of all payments received shall release Centennial Canoe and our partners from any further liabili
