Trip Overview

The CMC In-State-Outing has been a CMC tradition for over 100 years. This year, we will meet at the Pagosa Riverside Campground,  1 ½ miles east of the resort town of Pagosa Springs.  We will have four days of “A”. “B” and “C” hikes, 14 catered meals under the big tent, entertainment, a ranger talk, fishing in the San Juan River and the opportunity to visit local sites and local entertainment.  The ISO offers a variety of activities that appeals to a wide range of people.  Some will hike four days, while others will want to fish and others will read a book or sit in the Hot Springs.  Some will come to just see old friends.

Note: this trip has a no dogs policy, which will be strictly enforced.

Accommodations

Campground tent camping and RV Spots available.

Activities / Difficulty

A variety of hikes will be offered to participants and other CMC members ranging from A to C hikes. Participants may hike, fish, bike, or read a book. There is no requirement to participate in any specific activity.
