This spontaneous outing is a SCOUTING RIDE, an adventure to investigate a new route. On Friday, March 17th we will head north to Northglenn and Thornton for a ride along bike paths to the Platte River Trail and return. On the return, the bike path is a gentle uphill with the possibility of headwind. The ride is approximately 17 miles. Location of the starting point: 281 W 104th Avenue, Northglenn, CO 80234

Please arrive by 9:30 am, so we can leave promptly at 10:00 am. The essential items for participating are plenty of water, necessary items to repair a flat tire (replacement tube for your tire size), appropriate clothing for changes in the weather, carrying ID and a medical card. The wearing of a helmet is mandatory.

Following the ride, an optional lunch will be at Cinzzetti's.


THIS TRIP IS FOR RMOTHG MEMBERS ONLY. Eligible guests (50 years of age and older) are allowed with the signing of a waiver form. Guests may participate in two of our activities before joining the Rocky Mountain Over The Hill Gang section and the Denver Group of the Colorado Mountain Club.
