Snowshoes Required, microspikes recommended

We will hike 4.3 miles southwest up the Ben Tyler Trail to a trail junction at 11,000 feet. We will leave the Ben Tyler Trail & hike 0.8 miles southeast on the Craig Park Trail to the 11,540 foot saddle between Platte Pk. & Kenosha Pk. Then we will leave the trail and hike 0.2 miles east up a rounded ridge to treeline at 11,760 ft.  Then we will hike 0.5 miles east to the summit where we will be able to look SE into Craig Park. Craig Creek separates the Platte River Mountains and the Kenosha Mountains.

Trip complete; no incidents to report. All participants did well & took turns breaking trail. Snow was deep, especially after leaving Ben Tyler Trail. We had a turn around time of 1:15pm. We did not reach summit, but did do 10.3 miles with 3041' elevation gain.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
