This is an LIT technical climb for Yann LaCostaouec. Contact him for details and passcode.

Come join me Sunday for a climb of Tyndall Glacier or "the Finger". If weather cooperates we will tag both Hallet and Flattop. Will descend the Flattop trail to Bear Lake. Expect a long day. We will snowshoe up Tyndall gorge to the base of the glacier or couloir and evaluate the conditions for safe climbing. Must be comfortable on steep snow with crampons and ice ax, including self arrest. The condtions could make us climb these 2 or another, or we may have to turn around. Expected equipment to bring are ice ax, helmet, crampons, harness with 2 locking biners, picket if you have one, ice screw if you have one, Avy gear (probe, beacon, shovel), snowshoes and winter weather gear.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
