The trip is called out to be about 5.4 miles RT with 2900' of elevation to a summit of 13841'.

Required gear: snowshoes, ice axe, helmet, Avalanche Gear (shovel, probe, beacon) and knowledge on how to conduct a companion rescue.  Although it is not anticipated that we will be directly exposed to avalanche terrain, the trip does take us into avalanche country so bringing equipment is out of an abundance of caution if inadvertenly exposed.

Crampons may be required depending on weather patterns leading up to the climb. Bring microspikes at a minimum. I will provide update prior to the climb.

Expect winter conditions - windy and cold temps - so dress accordingly.

Here is some good beta:

Windy day on the ridge with gust enough to knock a person over. Temperatures and snow conditions were excellent.
