Location

Carpool Location:  meet at the Boulder County Justice Center by 5:30 PM for prompt 5:40 PM departure for trailhead.  Carpooling is preferred in that car parking is limited at the trailhead.  The parking lot for the Boulder County Justice Center is on the SE corner of 6th and Canyon.  My 'vivid blue' Honda Fit will be parked one row south of Canyon near to 6th St.

OR

Trailhead Location:  meet at the Centennial Park Trail Head (by the outhouses) by 5:55 PM for a prompt 6:00 PM hike start.  The trailhead is located on the south side of Sunshine Canyon Rd just west of the Sanitas access point (Mapleton Avenue becomes Sunshine Canyon Dr west of 4th St).  Outhouses are available at the trailhead.  More information at https://bouldercolorado.gov/osmp/centennial-park-trailhead

Details

Join us for a fun, moderate paced after-work social hike.  We will explore the burn area on Mt. Anemone from open trails.

There is no need to register for this trip, just show up at either the carpool location or trailhead! Because parking can be liminted at Centennial Park Trailhead, carpooling is preferred.

Come prepared for any weather with good footwear, rain jacket, headlamp or flashlight, and a snack to share if you like (as we will stop along the trail for a quick break).  There's also an option for after-hike food and drink at a nearby restaurant.
