Work Scope

Quandary peak is one of the most accesable and popular of the Colorado 14er's . Because of this much erosion has taken place on and off the trail and has caused detrimental impact to some of the sensitive trailside habitat, especially in alpine and sub alpine zones. The project will consist of hiking up to the subalpine zones on the Quandary Peak Trail and completing trail maintenance and construction, as well as restoration work. Volunteers will be able to camp out for the entire weekend along with the regular crews who have been working on this project all summer. Be prepared for a weekend of hard work, great food, and enjoyable times in beautiful mountain scenery.
