Gary Johnston,

Having trouble with the online registration? Well no problem, you may pay at the door. However, we'd need to know you are coming so we order enough food, so please contact me by 11/1. Walk in's are welcome, too, as Sherpas is generous in estimating their food portions. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Please join us for a fun and interesting evening of camaraderie, Himalayan food, speakers, and merriment!

  • 5-6pm Social hour (BYOB), punch provided

  • 6-7 Dinner

  • 7-7:30 Annual Meeting:

  • 7:30 - 8:30 Presentation

  • 8:30-9:30 Socializing & Closing

Back by popular demand, this year’s annual “not a potluck” dinner includes catered food and Chai Tea from Sherpa’s Adventure Restaurant, beer from Upslope Brewing Company, and dessert, punch, water and provided by the CMC. Just BYOB if you’d like and show up for the fun! Cost is $20 and guests are welcome.

Advance registration by mail or before Nov. 1 would be very much appreciated to help us estimate the food needs, but late registration and walk-ins are welcome as well.

Featured Speaker: Alan Apt, author of the forthcoming     “Ski and Snowshoe Routes, Colorado's Front Range”

Alan will discuss the tradeoffs between snowshoeing and cross-country skiing for the uninitiated as well as the experienced winter mountaineer. This will be an interactive discussion, and will include techniques and strategies for both sports. The presentation will also showcase gear and include spectacular photos of trail options. Please come learn about snow travel in our backyard!
