Details

From the Eldora Nordic Center, travel up the bunny-slope to the Jenny Creek Trail 808 going west and turning north (right) on the Guinn Mountain Trail 820.  This trail will go north and west with some steep terrain.  Depending on the group will also visit the Arestua Hut. Expect high winds.

Don’t forget to bring your Ten Essentials.

There will be an optional celebratory stop after the hike, probably in Nederland.

If the trip has a full foster, consider signing up anyway; it is common for some participants to cancel registration in the days prior to the trip.

Notes

This is a Bobcats trip. The Bobcats' mission is to ensure a variety of challenging CMC trips, especially “B Difficult” and “C” hikes and Difficult Snowshoes, for our mostly age-50+ constituents.  We may sponsor other activities of interest to our members, everything from bike rides to camping.  Although we have members, we don’t have dues or elections, and our trips are non-exclusive.  We welcome all CMC members to sign up for any Bobcats trip regardless of age or Bobcats membership. To join our free mailing list, write Membership Services at office@cmc.org or call them at (303) 279-3080.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
