Continuing the early Tuesday morning daybreak series, this Marshall Road to South Boulder Road segment of the South Boulder Creek Trail is an out and back with little elevation gain. Another great before work, watch the sunrise hike.

We start at the trail access point off highway 93/Broadway/Marshall Road and head north to South Boulder Road and back.  A map of the hike is found at https://www-static.bouldercolorado.gov/docs/BobolinkCherryvale-1-201406061412.pdf  NOTE: We will not do the Bobolink portion of the South Boulder Creek potion of the trail on this map.  We will turn around at South Boulder Road and return to Marshall Road.

Be sure to bring a headlamp, water, and a snack.  Dress in layers. Be prepared for all types of weather. Light hiking boots or running shoes are appropriate in good weather.  If there is snow, the hike will be more enjoyable if you have yak tracks, gloves and a hat.

Meet at the access point off highway 93/Broadway 6:30 a.m.  From the Table Mesa Drive and Broadway intersection, head south on Broadway/93.  At 1.8 miles turn left onto Marshall Road then an immediate right.  Park immediately on the left or right of the road.  The trail is on the left, east side of Marshall Road.
