Our meeting will cover several topics including  the continuious stream of serious and imminent conservation threats from Washington. We will update memebers on the most immediate actions in Congress such as the current budget bill which allows oil drilling in the Arctic Wildlife Refuge of Alaska, President Trumps drastic reduction of Utah National Monuments, very bad legislation that would de-regulate forest management , and accelerated environmental review of existing environmental protections on public lands.Karl Ford will talk about the up-coming campaign with other conservation organizations to forge ahead with a wilderness proposal for BLM lands and how we can help.
