Join CMC Denver Group Conservation for our Ferurary  meeting . The meeting will start at 6:30 .  Join us to listen in for discussion and dialogue and participate if you would like. For those people like us that enjoy the public lands so much, we are seeing the gravest threats ever to these lands and the wildlife that depend on them.

Our meeting will cover several topics including  the continuious stream of serious and imminent conservation threats from Washington. Just a few of those include de-comminioning national monuments such as in Utah, drilling for oil in the Alaska Wildlife Refuge, eliminating regulations protecting the national forests, bikes in wilderness areas, accelerated environmental review of existing environmental protections on public lands, and allowing the free release of methane at oil drilling sites. Also, Karl Ford will talk about the up-coming effort to forge ahead with a wilderness proposal for BLM lands and how we can help. And we will begin planning our summer conservation hikes and trips to areas of conservation concern and field monitoring.

We will also present the various oppurtunities for people to get involved ifor those interested in the conservation effort as your voice is needed now more than ever.  ALL HANDS ARE NEEDED ON DECK!
