* To register email me with your fitness level, but please be precise. So for example if you hike/run/bike/walk, please be precise and tell me when, how much, how fast, how often. I "run or hike twice or 5 times a week" does not tell me absolutely anything

* We should start before 530am to be done by 1230-ish. Thus the carpool will be at 3:00am at the Woolly Mammoth. The 2nd meeting point around 445-ish in Alma, CO. Some ( me included ) might spend the night there, maybe car camping

* Backup day will be Sunday, so let me know if you can do Sunday as well

* If you are accepted on this trip ( meaning you are currently in shape and have done similar hikes ) then i am sure you can read all the hike details here That being said, i will set up an online document with ALL the details we need

* The total nr of participants will depend if we can find an experienced co-leader. Ideally i would like a few people with medical experience and maybe another CMC leader. That is why I will wait maybe a week or two for people to pre-register and then i will decide. I am gonna favor CMC leaders ( 1 extra points ); if you have Wilderness First Aid or similar ( 1 extra point ) ; if we co-lead before ( 1 extra point )

* This is a D-moderate  because this is an early season hike, and because we might still have snow up there, and expecially because we will be at high elevation up and down 4(four) 14ers times.

* Mandatory gear ... which is ... whatever you need to be comfortable standing still for an hour in the rain at 13,000 feet this time of the year. PLUS MICROSPIKES ( not yak tracks) and 2 Hiking Poles ( for traversing potential snow fields )

* Thoughts ? Comments ? Suggestions ? Please DO email me.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
