Crosier Mtn sits atop Crosier Mountain Roadless Area in the Roosevelt National Forest foothills about 15 miles west of Loveland, and not too far northeast of Estes Park.  There are three trails to the summit.  One from Glen Haven on the west side, one from the north, and one from Drake on the east side.  I have led "B" hikes up this mountain from the west side several times, but the east approach is 1000' more gain in about the same distance so is a "C" hike.  The last half mile to the summit is the same for both routes but otherwise the hikes are definitely not the same.  Views on the trail are to the east (plains) with a surprise view to the west at the summit.

I do not plan this as a snowshoe trip but there may be some residual snow near the summit.  I think this is likely to be a micro spike type hike alough even they are optional.  Relatively dry or really light snow weather is forecast this week.  The east side TH has been difficult to access for several years due to road reconstruction after the 2013 flood.  But the roads are now open so up we go.  Elevation gain includes 300 ft on the return.
