Blue downhill skills required as well as avy gear (beacon, shovel, probe).  Tele, splitboard or AT skis, skins.  No skinny skis. 

Starting at the Herman Gulch Trailhead we will ski up the Watrous Gulch Trail to roughly the intersection with the Bard Creek Trail.  We will then skin up the ridgeline to point 12396.  We will descend the sub 30 degree meadows back to the trail.   


Meet at Wooly Mammoth across from Service Station at 7:00.  My car will be a grey Highlander.  We will carpool to the trailhead.

The weather and snow were stellar.  A bluebird day with soft powder.  Great turns and great people!  Wish every Thursday would be so good!
