We follow the road south and slightly west till we reach a beauiful, dramatic open cirque near 11,400.  We can proceed uphill toward Radical Hill depending on weather and wind.  When I scouted the trip, the wind was quite strong in the cirque.

The trip is an out and back difficut snowshoe.
