There is an area just east of Winter Park in the Arapahoe National Forest James Peak Protection Area and also the Rendezvous development that looks intriguing.  There are a number of trails back there that intersect, meaning you can choose how far and how high you want to go.

CMC may do an event there in March with Rendezvous.

The snowshoe I've proposed goes about 8.6 miles, up almost 1200', but can be modified depending on the conditions.

We meet at 6:30 am at Wooly Mammoth Park & Ride section BB for a no later than 6:45 start.
