Event Details

While we pay homage to the women of the past, and celebrate the women of today, we also need to empower the women of tomorrow - our outdoor loving girls! 

On Friday, March 22, we welcome all parents, guardians, and mentors to bring your girls to the American Mountaineering Center for an afternoon of climbing. We will have our best young climbers there to teach and answer questions about what it takes to get into the climbing world as young women. 

Youth Education Instructors will be on hand to teach how to climb, new techniques, and teach parents how to help their girls keep on climbing! 

A very special guest  and CMC member will be joining us to help teach some leadership skills on the wall: Lindsay Hastings. Lindsay is a professional Ice Climber, currently on the USA World Cup Ice Climbing Team for the Speed Finals. 

Pizza and some drinks will be provided. More details to come.
