From the trailhead we will be following the Meridian Trail about 3.5 miles to the saddle at 11000 feet. Here we will traverse the north side of Rosedale for about a mile and then go off trail to the summit at 11700 feet in elevation. The Meridian Trail is well marked.

If we can drive all the way to the trailhead, the chance of summiting is good. If not, we will likely only make the saddle. The goal will be the summit, but we will need to be flexible depending on snow cover. I have been to the saddle twice this winter, but beyond that will be a scout.

Please bring your winter layers, snowshoes and spikes. Ten essentials.
